Behind the
huge Social Science Lecture Hall is a calm and serene spot that I have declared
as my short-term studying, book reading, blog writing, and getting away from
life spot. The sound of the trickling water fountain adjacent to the location
adds more to its aura. This hidden spot is mainly known to Social Science
majors who have classes around this area. Though there are a few people who
walk by during passing time, it doesn’t bother me at all because I’m always in
a relaxed mood whenever I’m here. I am actually writing this blog while I’m
sitting at this very spot!

Here is a
makeup guide and short outfit guide ideal for cool Spring days on what to wear
whenever you go to these sorts of places, whether it is to a small location at
your college, to a park, or to any quiet outdoor area, to get some “me time”
and relax a bit while getting a couple of things done.
MAKEUP
A light
coverage foundation is definitely best for this sort of look. Also, because you
will be outside, why not use a product like a tinted moisturizer that gives you
some coverage and protects you from the sun? It’s best of both worlds! (Yes,
that was a Hannah Montana reference) My go-to tinted moisturizer is Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20.
If you have any blemishes, conceal with MAC
Studio Finish Concealer. **Don’t go overboard with the tinted moisturizer
and concealer because this look is supposed to be light, fresh, and as natural
as possible**
An essential
eye product for Spring and Summer is a neutral cream eye shadow. They go on
easily and, best of all, quickly! Such cream eye shadows are MAC Bare Study Paint Pot and Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded.
Skip powder
to achieve a dewy look. If you already have naturally rosy cheeks, skip
applying blush. But if you are not blessed with this feature like many of us,
blend some cream blush like NYX Cream
Blush in Boho Chic with an angled blush brush or with your ring finger onto your cheekbones to get that naturally
rosy cheeks look.
To match the
blush, apply Maybelline Color Whisper in
Lust for Blush onto your lips, and you are ready to go!!

Personally, when I'm going out for a relaxing day to sit at my spot, I like to dress comfortably and casually but with a twist of my own style. The polka dot dress is girly yet sophisticated with the collar. Because of the polka dots on the dress, whatever else you wear shouldn't have any stand out patterns, hence the simple sandals. The bowler hat is just an added touch that incorporates a bit of edginess and trendiness to the outfit.
